I'm assuming that it doesn't use the battery for ignition like the 125DR (and the Gs which i have, same engine!) Turned out to be an issue with the source coil in the end, so we changed the ignition system to that of a later model that DOES use the battery.

I recently purchased a 1994 Suzuki DR250s. It ran great for about 3 months with no problems. One day it was idling funny; up down up down on the rpms and wanting to stall. The next day it wouldn't start. This all was a very quick progression.
